Who the Roma Spider suits
It suits couples, anniversaries and proposals, honeymooners and anyone who wants the full Italian grand-touring experience with the sky overhead. The small rear seats take a bag or a child rather than adults on a long trip, so think of it as a car for two.
Best routes in Georgia for the Roma Spider
Drive it roof-down along Rustaveli Avenue at sunset, past the Bridge of Peace and up to the viewpoints near Narikala and Mtatsminda. For a day trip, the road east to Sighnaghi, the hilltop town above the Alazani Valley, is the perfect match. In spring and autumn the Kakheti wine roads and the drive to Mtskheta are ideal; in summer, start early and enjoy the cooler mountain air towards Ananuri.
What the Roma Spider is like to drive
The V8 is smooth and refined at low speed and thrilling when you use the full rev range. The eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox and rear-wheel drive give a clean, sporting feel, and the wind deflector keeps the cabin calm with the top down.
